Personalized Caregiving of Tennessee Expected to Launch in Summer 2023
Knoxville, TN, 26 May 2023- Registered Nurse sisters Sydney and Haley Heacock are excited to announce the upcoming launch of their new caregiving agency Personalized Caregiving of Tennessee. Their caregiving agency will provide individualized in-home caregiving services to adult clients in Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane, and Union counties. Personalized Caregiving of Tennessee is expected to open and begin serving new clients in summer 2023.
This is the first business venture for Sydney and Haley Heacock, who bring several years of combined nursing experience to the table from a variety of nursing roles. “We graduated from Lincoln Memorial University together. We had always planned on going to nursing school together and we had that come true,” explains Sydney. After graduation, the two sisters gained valuable nursing experience together while working as home healthcare nurses, eventually moving into separate roles in psychiatric and medical-surgical nursing to gain additional skills and knowledge.
Clients can expect to receive non-medical caregiving services 24/7, which can include: nail care without trimming, meal prepping, showering, assistance with activities of daily living, toileting, and more. Personalized services will also include social and spiritual care that can include activities such as card games, puzzles, taking walks, and more. Sydney emphasizes that “meeting one’s healthcare needs includes taking care of social, spiritual, and physical needs, so that is our goal- to be able to service all of those areas”. Sydney adds that she and Haley believe it is important to take social, spiritual, and mental needs into account when approaching caregiving. “That is where we want to stand out and make a difference.”
Caregivers will be selected and trained based on each client’s individual needs and requests. “If you need someone for cooking, we won’t send you someone who hasn’t cooked a day in their life. If you need someone who is a talker to talk with you and have companionship, we will send you someone who fills that need.” All caregivers will receive Tennessee state required training and background checks, but they will also receive hands-on training to ensure safe, quality services.
Sydney and Haley strive to provide holistic, individualized, and compassionate care every step of the way. “Both of us have a passion for this and we want to focus on individualized care as opposed to just checklists and going through things as quickly as possible. Our goal is to enrich individuals and their families by caring for their loved ones to the best of our abilities and to listen to the client’s family needs and wants to add value to the best quality of their life.”
Personalized Caregiving of Tennessee is expected to open in the next few months and will offer free consultations for families wanting to learn more about their services. You can text or call them at 865-264-8507 to learn more. You can also visit their website at personalizedcaregivingtn.com to learn more about their services or send them an email.
